This is a small home based business for women's services only. I provide a comfortable waxing experience with the use of a variety of waxes for different areas due to sensitivity. Infrared sauna sessions and massage add-ons are now available for booking online. Waxing and Sauna unfortunately are not meant to go together. Massage add-ons are available to go with either Waxing appointments or Sauna appointments.

My apologies we are not wheelchair accessible, we are found up one flight of stairs.
Please Read Carefully: An optional 30% deposit available to pay at time of booking (does include saving card in order to book). This is deducted from the total price and held until the service is provided and the final payment is made when service is finished. If you choose to do full payment at the time of service you are able to choose ‘Pay Later’ after a card number has been added. Payment options are the online system, tap to pay, bank transfer, or cash.
Changes can be made up to 24 hours prior online. Anything within 24 hours of appointment will need a text for reschedule. If a no show without notification occurs, the total cost of the deposit will be withdrawn and non-refundable.

What is Reiki you ask?

The word Reiki comes from the words Rei meaning “universal”, and Ki meaning “life force or energy”. Together, these words tell us that reiki is a form of healing that works with the universal life energy to support balance and wellbeing in both body and mind. To do this, Reiki treats the whole person: body, emotions, mind and spirit. Doing this allows for many beneficial effects, including relaxation and restorative energy, that enhance feelings of peace, security, and wellbeing.

Reiki is omnipresent, omnipotent, and omniscient. This means it is present everywhere; it is an absolute and infinite power; and it is infinite wisdom and knowledge. This form of work is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If, or when, our life force energy is low we are more likely to become unwell or stressed causing illness, dis-ease, dis-comfort etc.

All in all, Reiki is a simple yet natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can benefit from. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always has a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

One session will provide noticeable improvements in healing and wellbeing; however, a series of treatments are recommended to experience the full restorative impacts of reiki. Experience true rejuvenation with Reiki today!

If you would like to purchase a package (prices below) please add to your notes what package you would like and once the intake form is completed a package will be made and sent to you. Auckland residents can pay via bank transfer, online link for credit card or cash. Keep in mind cash payment must be made after intake form is filled and before appointment, please arrange drop off if this is your choosing.

Understanding the booking system:
Morningside location is for in-person sessions, if you are from overseas please use the Distant Reiki Location. Morningside location is for current clients only. New clients and men booking in for reiki are accepted for Distant sessions only. [Reiki bookings will temporarily go through Timely as we source a better website option- thank you for understanding.]

**Pre and Post Waxing Information**
Before Treatment
- Let your hair grow out to at least the length of a grain of rice (0.5-1 cm). This will guarantee the most effective treatment.
- Gently exfoliate your skin 24 hours before your appointment and no moisturiser the day of appointment.
- Nervous about sensitivity? Take a couple of Panadol an hour before your appointment. No need to go overboard it’s not as bad as you think.
- Before and after your appointment, hold off on spray tans. Wait 24 hours for the follicles to calm down.
- The appointment lengths are an estimate. If you are scheduled for a 45 minute treatment, it does not necessarily mean it will last 45 minutes. My goal is to be quick and as pain-free as can be!

After Treatment
What to expect- Some slight tenderness, small bumps and some redness are all common and perfectly normal temporary reactions after a wax. Especially if it is your first time this should subside within 24 hours. I always recommend aloe vera gel to further heal and soothe the skin.
You may notice a small amount of regrowth in the first week or so. Keep in mind it can take up to 4 treatments for your hair to get into a growth cycle that gives you best results. We recommend you come in every 4-5 weeks (6 wax package available)
- For the first 24-48 hours, keep those follicles squeaky clean!
- Don't wear tight or synthetic clothing to avoid friction on the area.
- Don't exercise or do anything that will cause perspiration - inlcuding swimming in a chlorinated pool.
- Don't use spas, saunas, steam rooms. No hot showers or baths. Showers to be kept luke warm.
- Don't use tanning beds, fake tan or expose the area to the sun.
- Don't use perfumed/fragranced body wash, oils, moisturisers or sprays other than those recommended by your waxologist.
- Don't touch the area. Don't use harsh soaps, AHAs, deodorants, perfumed products.

Until your next wax:
- Exfoliate with a gentle mitt daily to avoid in-growns and keep skin smooth. Alternatively you can exfoliate 1-2 times a week.
- Moisturise daily.
- Don't pick or squeeze- add some Bump Eraser!
- Don't shave.

If booking Infrared sauna for the first time a consultation form will automatically send to you via sms/email. If you do not receive a notification it will be located under My Forms after you've logged into your account. This form needs to be finished in order to book and make payment for packages/sessions.
